Jacie Dunkle Recommends VMV Brands

“I currently own three restaurants and I have used VMV Brands for all three. When I approached them to help me advertise Fellini’s #9, I had been open for a number of years and needed a marketing boost. They came in, did an amazing job at getting the ‘word out’ about our new menu items and other promotions we were running. They came and took pictures of our food and highlighted our menu and drink specials. This resulted in an increase in business. Mr. Gillespie, “DWYGD” and how they changed my life….

EDITOR’S NOTE: I penned the submission below for the Walsingham Academy alumni magazine on June 4, 2012. Mr. Gillespie – my Algebra, Algebra II/Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus teacher at Walsingham Academy – continues to influences my life with his “DWYGD” acronym. Here’s how “DWYGD” or “Do What You Gotta Do” has impacted my life!


I can still hear Mr. Gillespie’s booming voice echoing in my ears. It’s almost as if I’m sitting in his Algebra class all over again, wearing grey slacks, a navy blue blazer and a green plaid tie with a Jansport backpack resting at my feet. Here’s what I’m going to do with this website…

Well, this is my first blog post. I’m not sure what this forum will evolve into, but I feel compelled to express my thoughts, so I asked the VMV Brands team to build me a website. I often find inspiration in the most random places, but I don’t have a dedicated journal or diary to capture these fleeting moments. I plan to use this forum to collect, organize and chronicle these inspirational thoughts because they offer vision, balance and perspective. I hope to reflect on this inspiration – along with my trials, tribulations, failures and successes – and use them all to make me a better person and conscious capitalist. Read more
